Experiência de professores universitários durante educação remota de emergência devido à crise do COVID-19

Resumo

A pandemia COVID-19 criou a maior interrupção dos sistemas educacionais da história da humanidade, afetando mais de 1,5 bilhão de estudantes em todo o mundo em mais de 200 países. O fechamento de centros educacionais afetou mais de 94% da população estudantil em todo o mundo. As políticas de distanciamento físico e restrição de mobilidade têm perturbado significativamente as práticas educacionais tradicionais. Nesse contexto, este estudo analisa as experiências de professores universitários em relação à educação a distância de emergência durante a crise do COVID-19, em uma universidade privada chilena. A partir de uma abordagem qualitativa, é construído um questionário estruturado online e realizada uma análise de conteúdo. A amostra corresponde a professores de vários programas (n = 35). De acordo com os resultados, o ambiente e a forma mais comum de condução das aulas foram a própria casa e o computador pessoal. Entre as reclamações estão a instabilidade da rede de seus alunos, a sobrecarga de trabalho e o sistema de videoconferência imposto por sua universidade. Conclui-se que a educação a distância emergencial requer a participação de toda a equipe docente.
